Vested Interest is back again to support libraries participating during International Games Week 2017 with a donation of their abstract puzzle experience, simian.interface++. This award-winning digital game has no explicit rules, no instructions, and very simple controls. Simian.interface++ is a single-player game that presents challenges that must be solved using pattern recognition, intuition, and experimentation. Move your mouse to change the patterns and shapes until they fall into place.
Indiegames.com’s Lena LeRay notes that this game is meditative to play. If you aren’t looking for meditation, arcade mode challenges the user to solve as many puzzles as they can in 60 seconds.
This game is suitable for children of all ages. This game displays properly in English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, and Japanese, but is designed to be played by applying spatial reasoning and intuition, so users don’t need to be able to read the text to play.
Thank you Vested Interest for donating to International Games Week!
