Hi, everyone! This is Ray from The Op Games team. As our Head of Content, I create videos
and run our social media to help raise awareness not just of the games we make, but of the
board gaming hobby as a whole.
When we make a viral video that reaches a broader audience, one comment I’ll always see pop
up is something along the lines of “I love board games, but I have no one to play with!” Now if
only I could reach through my phone and invite people to play board games at my house! But
while I think technology is still a few years away, there are other great ways we can bridge the
gap between board game enthusiasts and the board game curious, with one of the best being to
support board game libraries!
Board gaming libraries help to break down financial barriers to the hobby and provide a
welcoming gaming community for newcomers! And we believe that now more than ever, it’s
crucial to support third spaces that foster in-person play.
That’s why we here at The Op Games are so proud to be partnering with the American Library
Association! To support the ALA’s work, we will donate games to up to 350 libraries in the
continental United States. Libraries will receive a copy of each of the following hot new games:
Anomia
