Are you looking to get started with Roleplaying games in your library or community space, but the big books are a bit much for new players? Looking for diverse and expansive examples of games where you can learn the rules AND play a whole session in one sitting? Well, have we got a session for you!

This session will focus on small and independent games and how to find them – we’ll provide resources from published books to twitter threads that can help you get started on your first adventure!

Presenters: Russell Brandon is a data services librarian for Fant Memorial Library at the Mississippi College for Women, where he develops digital literacy instruction, conducts library assessment audits, and generally tries to solve more problems than he creates. Danielle Costello is a reference librarian for Louisiana State University where she teaches library instruction and develops game programing.
