I know it is two months away, but if you register early you can be entered into a drawing for free games.
This year the Games and Gaming Roundtable (GameRT) of the American Library Association will be celebrating International Games Month (IGM) in November. For those of you who have joined us for International Games Week (IGW) in the past this is an expansion to acknowledge how great games in libraries are and our history.
We are glad to announce several companies that are sponsoring us this year: Looney Labs, Eagle-Gryphon Games, Red Raven Games, and Oni Games.
For information about registration, our sponsors, and all the resources we are making available visit our website: https://games.ala.org/international-games-month/. Register to be placed into a drawing for FREE GAMES!
One of the new activities that libraries can join in on this year is a game jam. The themes for the jam are The Connections we make through reading and “Happy Anniversary”. To register your library in the jam please visit our itch.io page.
Not sure of what a game jam is? Join us for a webinar from the Indiana State Library on August 24th at 10AM EDT: Game Jams for Libraries. What are they? Why should I host one?
