    1 Stat Skirmish: This is a tactical skirmish system with simple rules, where all stats of a miniature are boiled down to a single stat.  The system is miniatures agnostic and suitable for all kinds of genres.  Included are rules for solitaire gaming, too!

    Bandada: It’s the early days of spring and birds are zipping about looking for berries and flowers.Players draft cards from an array that have an action listed on the top and a scoring method listed on the bottom.  It can be played solitaire or with two players.

    Depleted: A solo adventure game set on a weary dying Earth where the player mat represents your ship. Pay Fuel to explore locations to find resources and allies, and encounter creatures. Board Game Geek account required.

    Iron Mountain: The Shadows Within: In this game noir, players embody outcasts reduced to shadows from slaving away in underground mines.  Over a series of turns, players try to reclaim their past lives and escape the mountain into the light.  Board Game Geek account required.

    Kukulkan: Easy and smart roll-and-write game where players build the Temple of Kukulkán, a Mayan step pyramid also known as “El Castillo”.  On each turn, players choose to place stones or mark stone for victory points.  Board Game Geek account required.

    Pixel Farm: Players strive to be the most fruitful famer in this deck building game mixed with puzzles and pixel art inspired graphics.  You draw cards to create new farms but beware the plagues that reduce your harvest!  Board Game Geek account required.

    Tudor Trail: In this solo game, you follow the timeline from the reign of King Henry VII to the final years of Queen Elizabeth and attempt to stop rebellions, destroy the Spanish armada, and keep your rivals from the English throne.  Game also available for purchase.

    Arctic Dash: Narwhal Race: All the tasty fish have been eaten and it’s time to make the yearly trek to the wintering grounds. Dash beneath the ice and be the first to the other side!

    Asmodee Games: Print & Play: Asmodee Games created some free print-and-play versions of their popular games such as Love Letter, Ticket to Ride, and Dixit because people are in need of “joy and entertainment more than ever”.  Free expansions are also available for some games.

    CheapAss Games: This brand has different types of free print and play games including card games, board games, and older “broken” games.

    GenCan’t Contest Games: GenCan’t is the unconvention for those who can’t attend Gen Con. For the last few years they’ve held game design contests with different themes.

    Good Little Games: Good Little Games has a directory of 17 free card games. Some games can be played with just the printed pieces, but others require the use of dice or player markers. 

    Jellybean Games: Jellybean Games has over a dozen games for all ages. They include card games, tile games, and logical deduction games with options for single and multiple players.

    PnP Arcade Free Games: PnP Arcade is one of the largest distributors of print and play games. Over 100 free games are available for download in their free games section.

    PnP Paradise: PnP Paradise “is dedicated to finding the highest quality print & play games” and has over 100 free print and play games available.

    Roll & Write Global Jam Contest: A mix of different roll and write games designed by individuals for a 2018 game contest. Most games are available for free.

  • Party & Social Deduction Games (multiplayer)

    1000 Blank White Cards: 1000 Blank White Cards allows players to make the cards during the course of the game. There are no initial rules, as rules are developed by the cards players create. This is a fun game for people interested in game design and trying out different rules. 

    Cards Against Humanity: Cards Against Humanity is a hilarious game for more mature groups. Look for the “Steal the Game” section to get the free print and play version. You can also purchase the game on their website.

    Dixit: A lovingly illustrated game of creative guesswork, where the players’ imaginations unlock the story. In this award-winning game, players use the beautiful imagery on their cards to bluff their opponents and guess which image matches the story. 

    Funemployed: In Funemployed each player uses random cards to “build their resume” and interview using their cards to get the job. The free print and play version of this game is available with an orientation guide. You can also purchase the game on their website.

    Monikers: Monikers is a fun party game to play in teams. It has 3 rounds, each with different restrictions on how you can give clues (like in charades). The print and play version is available on Board Game Geek. You can also purchase Monikers on their website.

    Oh, Sheep!: Oh, Sheep! is a fun and fast paced card game, in which your goal is to get rid of your hand by attacking and defending against other players.     Dungeons & Dragons: Want to start playing Dungeons & Dragons?  Set in a medieval fantasy world, D&D allows you to experience stories and adventures full of endless possibilities. The “Basic Rules” for Dungeons & Dragons covers the fundamentals of play.

    Folklore: The Affliction: Travel alone, or with others, across the old world countryside of manors, castles, forests, and graveyards gathering lore to acquire long forgotten artifacts and abilities that may ward off ancient evils.  Files for “PnP” available in the “Downloads” section.

    Lasers & Feelings: Lasers & Feelings is a space-themed role-playing game that is fairly simple to play. You play as the crew of an interstellar scout ship on a mission to explore uncharted regions of space and defend the Consortium worlds.

    Vast: The Crystal Caverns: Vast takes you into the torch light of a classic cave-crawling adventure, built on the concept of total asymmetry. Play as a daring Knight, a chaotic Goblin horde, a greedy Dragon, a scurrilous Thief, or even the Cave itself! Game also available for purchase.

    Elysian Battlefields: This crowdsourced game is set in Elysium, the afterlife for heroes, where some of the greatest warriors that ever lived battle to conquer rule, or reign over the rest.  Ideas to add to the game are welcome.

    Grimslingers: A strategic, Western themed sci-fi fantasy game in which players can choose to battle each other or unite to work together for a common purpose such as fighting strange creatures while exploring the Forgotten West. Access in the “Downloads” section.

    Karmaka: In this competitive card game, players start as a lowly dung beetle and work their way up the Karmic Ladder, racing to see who will achieve transcendence first. Download using the “free print-and-play” link. Karmaka is also available for purchase.

    1572: The Lost Expedition: Assuming the role of conquistadors, you try to reach the Atlantic Ocean after a failed expedition deep in the “New World”. This single player game is limited to 42 turns, with phases such as map making and exploring. Board Game Geek account required. 

    Caterpillar Feast: In this multiplayer roll and write puzzle game, play as caterpillars that eat their way through the leaves before the owl in the tree trunk can come out and find you.  Game and rules have been updated recently by creator, Chris Anderson, for clarity.

    Ninja Dice: While you are using ninja skills to defeat challenges, the other ninjas are attacking you and each other!  Ninja Dice is a fast-paced, multiplayer dice game where how the dice land is just as important as what you roll.  Access in the “Downloads” section.

    Star Trek: The Dice Game: An award winning, Star Trek themed, single player dice game designed by Carl White where you control the Enterprise while on a five-year exploratory mission in deep space.  Board Game Geek account required.

    Utopia Engine: In this solitaire game, you play as an old artificer attempting to reconstruct a fabled device that averting impending Doomsday.  The dice mechanics simulate searching the wilderness and activating powerful artifacts.  Board Game Geek account required.
